2026 CCN ACP Global Teacher Certification Training Successfully Concludes

During CCN’s 1.0 phase from 2016 to 2025, the organization focused on bringing resources in and successfully established the IFP international foundation programme. It helped students worldwide prepare linguistically, academically, and interculturally before beginning degree study at Chinese universities. At the 2025 CCN Annual Conference, CCN announced its evolution from China Campus Network (CCN) to Global Campus Network (GCN), entering its 2.0 phase. Over its next decade of development, CCN will work with more international partners to build a global education ecosystem that brings together high-quality resources and connects campuses worldwide.

Drawing on years of accumulated curriculum resources, teaching standards, teacher resources, learning support, and digital tools, CCN has developed a tailored intelligent Chinese-learning solution for partner schools worldwide: CCN aiChinese (ACP). The programme was successfully launched at CCN’s Vietnam Foundation Centre in 2025 and has continued to grow in Russia in 2026.

From August 17 to 25, 2026, the CCN ACP Global Teacher Certification Training was successfully held. Eighteen local teachers from Vietnam and Russia completed the programme, building a localized teaching team for ACP classes scheduled to launch progressively at CCN overseas foundation centres in both countries from September to December 2026.

I. From Vietnam to Russia: Building Local Teaching Teams for ACP at Overseas Foundation Centres

In 2024 and 2025, CCN signed cooperation agreements with secondary schools under Vietnam’s FPT Education and EQuest Education groups, as well as with several local schools, bringing ACP to CCN overseas foundation centres in Vietnam. In 2025, CCN also established partnerships with leading secondary schools in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other Russian cities, further advancing ACP. This year, 18 teachers from partner schools in Vietnam and Russia joined the certification training – 12 from Vietnam and 6 from Russia. They will support ACP teaching as it is rolled out at CCN overseas foundation centres in the two countries from September to December 2026.

II. From ACP Senior to ACP Junior: Strengthening Quality Chinese Teaching for Secondary Students at Partner Schools

As GCN’s network of overseas partner schools expands, ACP is extending from senior secondary to junior secondary students. The programme now offers ACP Senior (ages 15+) and ACP Junior (ages 10-14), meeting the Chinese-learning needs of students at different ages and stages. The training therefore included separate Senior and Junior groups. ACP Senior covered introductory comprehensive Chinese, listening, Pinyin, intermediate and advanced comprehensive Chinese, and HSK listening for students aged 15 and above. ACP Junior covered introductory comprehensive Chinese, listening, Pinyin, and interactive youth-classroom activities for students aged 10 to 14. This tiered design enables partner schools worldwide to provide high-quality Chinese teaching to a growing learner population and to build a stronger foundation for overseas secondary students earlier in their learning journey.

In support of GCN’s goal of localized teacher development, the training followed a systematic model: global online training, livestreamed demonstration classes from China, local workshops, expert lesson coaching, and a unified certification assessment. This pathway takes ACP teachers from understanding the curriculum and observing demonstrations to analysing lesson types, practising in the classroom, and becoming certified. The programme covered the CCN and GCN context, the ACP model and curriculum, SuperCampus App use, and game-based resources, followed by demonstration lessons, teaching strategies, classroom practice, and expert Q&A for core lesson types such as comprehensive Chinese, listening, and Pinyin. The instructors and assessors were standing experts from the Project Development Committee and Teaching Management Committee of the CCN ACP Academic Management Centre, with direct experience in curriculum development, teaching standards, teacher training, and quality assurance. Through multi-screen livestreaming, in-person demonstration classes in China, expert courseware, online trainees, and local workshops in different countries were connected, helping teachers understand ACP learning objectives, class flow, interaction, gamified design, and the use of app data in authentic classroom settings.

The certification assessment further ensures that ACP teacher accreditation is standardized and rigorous. Under the CCN ACP teacher certification requirements, trainees must complete attendance requirements, classroom practice, a local demonstration lesson, and the final online assessment. The assessment covers key components of ACP’s dual-track model of interactive in-person teaching plus AI-personalized after-class support, including classroom organization, lesson delivery, student interaction, use of teaching resources, and SuperCampus App homework and learning-data feedback. Demonstration-lesson recordings, score sheets, trial-lesson slides, written test papers, and final results are all archived under unified standards, forming a traceable and reviewable certification management system. Teachers who pass will receive CCN ACP Project Teacher Certification and become qualified local teachers able to deliver ACP at overseas partner schools. The overall pass rate for this final certification assessment is 82%.

The successful completion of the 2026 CCN ACP Global Teacher Certification Training is a focused step forward in GCN’s continuing work to build localized teacher capacity. It has prepared teaching teams for ACP’s upcoming launch at CCN overseas foundation centres in Vietnam and Russia, while also providing a replicable model for future ACP rollouts in more countries and regions.

The Global Campus Network will ultimately be built through real schools, real classrooms, real students, and real teachers. Going forward, CCN will continue delivering ACP Global Teacher Certification Training, welcoming teachers from more countries and regions into the ACP teaching community, and providing partner schools worldwide with sustained, high-quality Chinese teaching capacity as we build a global campus network connecting China and the world.
